Asim Altokhais Interview on Al-Thaqafia Saudi Channel at Riyadh International Book Fair 2013<\/span><\/h1>\n

Riyadh International Book Fair is one of the most featured events that take place in Saudi Arabia as many outstanding writers and publishing houses participate to showcase their publications. Asim Altokhais is one of the authors who had the opportunity to express his feelings and reveal his experience between the two different cultures of America and Saudi Arabia through his book \u201cAlienation: My Life between Saudi Arabia and America.\u201d Asim\u2019s book was displayed in Riyadh International Book Fair 2013, and he was interviewed on Althaqafiah Saudi TV Channel with Abdulrahman Al-Saad.<\/p>\n

He started to speak about his book discussing the struggling that he went through to adapt the new culture of Saudi Arabia as he lived his childhood in the U.S. He went through psychological, social, and cultural conflicts trying to understand the two contrasting cultures. Eventually, with his father\u2019s assistance and guidance, Asim ended up having a stable personality where he could manage to balance between the two cultures and values. Hence, \u201cAlienation: My Life between Saudi Arabia and America\u201d is considered as a biography of Asim Altokhais.<\/p>\n

Then, he progressed to speak about the American publishing house that was responsible for publishing his book. He conveyed his content with their services in which they provided him with a successful marketing strategy via establishing social media accounts, plus making bookmarks, postcards, and invitation cards that revolve about the book and the author.<\/p>\n

In the end, the writer Asim Altokhais stated that 1000 copies of his book were sold in America, and he is planning to launch the book in Europe and Australia.
